Axolotl History

"Draw a series of pictures showing the evolution of the world as if axolotl was the dominant species"

Making of

The full request, by Lionel, goes like this: Draw me "A series of pictures showing the evolution of the world (prehistoric, ancient, medieval, enlightenment, modern, current & futuristic times). But instead of humans axolotls are the dominant species and they are treating platypus as their slaves."
So I looked for historical characters from each specific era. And I selected those with a name close to "axolotl" in order to tweak them and make them sound more axolotlian.

Speed painting video with Procreate app

This is an unedited video. But as you can notice, there are some steps missing. Notably after the prehistoric part, it jumps right after the medieval times. (around 7'25")
Probably because the app has a limit on how long the video can be, so it has deleted a lot of frames. I guess next time I'll have to work faster, damn.
For the soundtrack, I've used a music I created a while ago, with Garageband, because I didn't have time to do a specific one for this video.
