I only spent a couple of days in Rome. It was in February so the sky wasn't in his most beautiful shape. But it didn't rain, or just a few drops.
In a nice turn of events, I enjoyed the city by night in two of the most incredible places: the Colosseum and the Altar of the Fatherland, on Piazza de Venezia.
My visit was short but filled with awe. The truth is, I spent quite some time live sketching a few statues so it made it even shorter. But as the saying goes, Rome wasn't build in one day, so how could one expect to see it all in two?
